What the developer promises

It also states that “We’re more than a completely free streamer with the largest library in the entire streaming universe”. Another line from the listing: “We’re entertainment fiends and collectors, and never judgers”. The listing goes on to say “So, get comfy and settle into whatever you’re feeling”. One more point the description makes: “Live TV: news, weather, sports, & entertainment”.

The description says: “It’s live, always on, always free and has way fewer ads than cable”. In the developer’s words, “Check your local news channels for weather and news”. It also states that “Get game day ready with pre-game excitement”. These lines are the developer’s claims, taken straight from the store listing, not a hands-on test.
